Here's the final video using the footage we gathered while participating in the 2008 Columbia, MO Holiday Parade. Special thanks to Mark Nanneman and Pat Fowler for running the cameras for us and another special thanks to Sara Leeper for her editing expertise on this one. Enjoy!
With our new stage, PA, soundboard, and studio lights, we are launching a weekly music show. Every Saturday from 12-5pm, CAT members will produce a half hour show featuring local musicians. We welcome any and all musicians to contact us and schedule a taping.
With the holidays behind us and everyone slowly getting back on track, we have begun rescheduling classes at CAT.
We have new Panasonic DVX100B cameras! Within the next few weeks we will be retiring the old Sony PD170's. To check out the new cameras, all members have to take a 1 hour camera class. Members who have already taken the Field Production Class will not have to pay again. Members who are already familiar with the DVX100B's can test out of the class.
Studio B renovation is almost complete. Now is the perfect time to sign up for a studio production class. Learn how to produce every aspect of a studio show: lighting, blocking, sound, directing, switching. This is an amazing opportunity!
The new live music show Notes From Underground tapes its first episode on January 24th, featuring Columbia veterans SRE.
Notes From Underground is a great opportunity for anyone who is in a band or other kind of act to get seen on television, have a music video shot, perform for an audience, or just have a good time. The shows are all free of charge and open to the public.
We had a blast! Contact us today to get involved in the next show. We're currently booked through March 14th so there is no shortage of ways to be involved!
This is a FREE one-session class open to all Columbia/Boone County residents. Participants learn about the purpose and history of public access television, access services available at CAT and the policies and procedures of our organization.
Get a tour of our facilities, watch examples of our programming, ask questions of our knowledgeable staff and board of directors.
The next orientation is scheduled for February 21st at 9am in Windsor Auditorium on the Stephens College campus. The address is 1405 E Broadway, Columbia. Please contact us for more information!
