Ryan received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (English, Sociology, History) from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2003. He became involved at CAT in 2006 as a volunteer producer, drawing on his background in music and creative writing. He served on CAT's Board of Directors for nine months before joining CAT staff in 2008.
In addition to scheduling all of the programming on CAT, Ryan focuses on training and coordinating volunteers. He created Notes From Underground, a class in live studio production featuring local musicians. He also created SportsTeam, a class in sports field production. Ryan has helped to introduce free hands-on training, in kind memberships, and video on demand.
Ted graduated from the University of Missouri in 2009 with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Studies (Digital Media, Computer Technology). During his final semester at Mizzou, he held an internship at CAT where he assisted with studio shoots and post-production, created animations for several CAT shows, and designed two new CAT courses, the Studio Audio course, and the Digital Effects course.
As the newest member of the CAT staff, Ted is responsible for the checking in and out of CAT equipment as well as maintaining the office and editing suite. He also assists with studio shoots and editing tasks throughout the week and continues to teach the Studio Audio and Digital Effects courses. When he's not working at CAT, Ted works as a freelance graphic, web, and motion designer and heads the sound staff at The Blue Fugue.
