How to Get Involved

14 Ways To Be a Part of CAT

1. Produce your own TV show
2. Host / guest / act / perform onscreen for a CAT show
3. Participate in our hands-on training classes
4. Help a friend - be a crew-member for their show
5. Attend CAT shoots, screenings, and events
6. Watch CAT programs on TV and online
7. Call in or email during a live broadcast
8. Submit shows made outside Columbia (with permission)
9. Host a screening of your show, using our 16’ x 9’ screen
10. Submit events to our Community Bulletin Board
11. Contact us with your questions and comments
12. Share your knowledge - teach an advanced class 
13. Serve on the Board of Directors

Our facilities are located on the campus of Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri.  We are in the basement of the Helis Communications Center at 1405 E. Broadway.  Drop by during office hours and take a tour of our Production Studio and Editing Suite.  Meet staff and volunteers.  Learn more about what CAT has to offer!

Become a Member

Any resident of Columbia, MO may become a member and get programs on the air.  Please fill out a membership form and a program application.  

Our producer/provider's fees are:

  • $35/year for adults
  • $15/year for students & seniors
  • $50/year for organizations

Once you are a member, you can submit programming to air on CAT!

Host a talk show.  Make a music video.  Document community events.  Produce a short film.  Premier your masterpiece on Columbia Access Television!
