Learn the fundamentals of studio production in one of the largest studios in Missouri. Once you have completed this 4-part training, you can reserve studio time for your own productions.

Field Equipment & Light Kit Training

This 2-hour lecture class is required before you can check out CAT field equipment (cameras, light kits, microphones, tripods and cables). Learn the fundamentals of camera operation, cinematography, three-point lighting and equipment safety.

Final Cut Pro Training

Learn the basics of Final Cut Pro through hands-on training: importing footage, making cuts and transitions, adding music, inserting titles and credits, and exporting for playback on CAT TV Channel 85. Upon completion of this 2-hour course, you will be able to use the iMacs in CAT's Editing Suite.

Five students per class.

Indie Filmmaking Kit

Learn the ins-and-outs of the Canon T4i, Tascam DR-40, IndiePro HDMI monitor and all the other accessories that constitute our Indie Filmmaking Kit in this 3-hour class. Upon completion of this course, you'll be able to check out the Indie Filmmaking Kits for use in the field.
