Columbia Access Television

Stan Silvey is the Director of Strategic Communications for the Mizzou Network at the University of Missouri Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.  He oversees the digital platform that includes on demand video and live event streaming.  

After graduating from the University of Missouri in 1987 he worked 22 years at KOMU TV producing and directing shows, including This Week in Mizzou Football, The Norm Stewart Show, the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon, and Pepper and Friends. 

In 2009 he became the Director of Television and Instructor of Mass Communication at Missouri Valley College where he ran the television studio, editing facilities, and taught broadcast media courses including Broadcast Journalism and Television Studio Production.

He resides in Columbia and is married to Shelly Silvey, Creative Services Director at KOMU TV, and they have three children.
